Garantie CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) — Standard Deductible

Essential coverage to protect you in case of accidental collision, with limited financial liability.

1. CDW GUARANTEE ESSENTIALS

Every DIRENT rental contract in Morocco systematically includes the CDW guarantee (Collision Damage Waiver) at no extra charge.

This guarantee provides coverage in case of accidental damage to the vehicle, including:

Damage resulting from collision or scrape
Damage resulting from attempted break-in

In the event of a claim, your financial responsibility remains subject to a deductible, in accordance with your rental contract.

2. Standard Deductible

The renter pays the total rental upfront. A pre-authorization is blocked on their credit card upon vehicle collection.

In case of a covered claim, standard deductible applies. Your financial liability is limited to the contractual amount. In the absence of damage or unpaid charges, the full deposit is released.

Release timeframe:

The security deposit is released within 15 business days following return of the vehicle in good condition, minus any amounts owed to diRENT.

3. TELEPHONE ASSISTANCE IN CASE OF BREAKDOWN

In case of an incident or scrape on the road, simply complete an accident report form and notify our assistance team within 48 hours.

In case of breakdown or vehicle immobilization, our team remains available by phone to guide and assist you. Roadside assistance and towing can be organized if necessary, in accordance with your package.
